It was great album that made me jump up. this album released in the beginning of 2001 it created a trend of its own which slowly many bands started copying there style.Some people say this album tends to drag in places, but I would say just the opposite. Beth Ditto has such a strong, sexy and bluesy voice, there is much to love about it. And their sound is pure garage/blues rock. the lyrics are pretty good. Out of the 14 songs i loved the "sweet baby", it rocks me

I do like their music a lot and have been wanting to hear something new. The single Heavy Cross , released on April 28th, although a great pop track, lacks Beth Ditto's full heavy hitting powerhouse vocals.Its really a shame that I only discovered The Gossip myself sometime last year .

Gossip music for men, the name itself is quite strange, what has gossip got to do with, men I was wondering about that. But when we listen to the music, we will feel that gossip can be done for men too. The music brings in quite soothing for our ears; some of the tracks are excellent, if you get a chance to watch them live never miss the show its worth the watch.
