Why I'm a Fan
I'm a fan (and you should be too) because... Beth Ditto and The Gossip are great role models for young women and queer folk everywhere! Beth is sweet and sassy like southern girls are raised to be and doesn't give a s*** about people with bad attitudes. Fat girls are beautiful and softer for the cuddling. We need more queers who love personalities and not magazine cookie cutter girls/boys who don't eat enough. I love The Gossip because I love real people and I get by with the people I know and the people I know love me because I'm me and not because of how I look or what I have. And Beth's screamin' brings me to my knees.
